Day 2 - Down 3 Pounds!!!!


   

I can't believe I made it through Day 1 of this juice fast.  I wasn't sure what to expect, but I did it!!!  I'll be honest.... not all of the juices yesterday were awesome.  My least favorite was Joe's Mean Green.  I like cucumbers but the taste of cucumber juice is going to take a little getting used to.  :)  But overall, I drank a juice about every 2 hours and tried to drink lots of water in between.  I felt hungry only twice and even managed to attend the fireworks display in town with juice in tow.  

Today, I face day 2 with a lot of my schedule.  I'm a little sore from our legs workout yesterday, but I'm making it all work today.  So here's what's in store for today....

Run 
(We run for time intervals during the week... So this morning was 6 min run, 2 min walk, 7 min run, 2.5 min walk, 8 min run, 3 min walk, 6 min run)
Dessert juice from last night - Peach Delight... Yummy!!!

Beginning the Journey

Today I start my 10 day juice fast.  I want to do this because  I want to jump start my body into healing.  I am always tired and usually fall asleep by 7 PM every night.  I just want better.  I want to be able to physically stay awake and have more energy.  

So here's my beginning pictures.
   

Today's schedule looks like this....
  • Ran 5 minutes, walk 2 minutes, repeat 3 times
  • Work out at the gym with my husband and 2 oldest daughters
  • Carrot Apple Ginger Juice
  • Water with NingXia Red
  • Joe's Mean Green Juice
  • Carrot Apple Ginger Juice
  • Joe's Mean Green Juice
  • Peach Juice
  • Hot water with Lemon
